Thanks man for the links, other questions is how do you avoid paiting the rotors?
Dont worry about getting paint on the rotors, as it comes painted originaly. After a couple times applying the brakes, it comes right off.

For the fronts, there will be a plastic wrapped, brake sensor wire attached to the front drivers side. you will see it attached to the pad on that side. For the rear, it will be on the passengers side likewise.

Attached is a diagram. the sensor is #13

Where do you go to get your brake work done (which dealer)? I've seen some other posts referencing that painting the calipers void warranty's (something I don't want to happen at this point (CPO & Extended maint). Is it a case by case basis (the relationship built with your SA)? I had that to do on my list in a few weeks, and holding off... now.

I do the brakes myself. It saves me allot of mullah$$$, also bc under my warrenty my brakes are not covered. Check with your SA if your brakes fall under you warranty. If not covered, do as u please. If it is under warranty, ask if it would be ok to follow through with it.

Frank, IMO, Silver or red. Black on your car and behind your rims will be hard to see. Blue, to me, would look strange in a bad way. Silver is subtle, red would give your ride a sweet contrast with the black rims and silver paint.

In addition to painting the side of the caliber facing outward, did you paint the other sides of the caliber as well (such as the inner side touching the brake pades and the back side (facing the engine)? If so, how to get to those sides without swinging the caliber away from the rotor?

Thanks!
