call them and see how there warranty runs on things like that, I had the chrome peeling off one of the lips on my dads HRE's sent it over to HRE they replaced it free of charge and covered shipping both ways as well.

probably too much brake dust, no maintenance, etc haha.. cuz my sister was drivin with those rims on the 645 and i guess she couldn't care less
..before i took them for the e60.
