Polished lips tend to lose their brilliance after time and anything that is chromed tends to be heavier. I prefer lighter wheels, so I'd go with polished.

Chrome retains it's brilliance over time, but like Seoulman said, it is heavier due to the added layers of 'metal'. Polish on the other hand is just polished alumium. So overtime it will loose it's luster and show scratches. Polished lips are harder to take care of. After each wash, you must polish them with a wax type of substance. otherwise you will end up with water marks all over the wheels.

Its your preference... Chrome is easier to clean and take care of.
Polish, after time goes dull compared to chrome.
I vote chrome because it looks greats and I'm lazy...

chrome lips are harder to repair if you curb it, and chrome tends to peel off after few years. Its easier to scratch too!
polish lip is much better, its harder to scartch it, and if the shine is gone, you can just use metal polisher.
I regret getting rid of my iforged with polish lips in favor of my maya's with chrome.
