Flavio, Ive had alot of contack with kempower about there 525d upgrade aswell. They told me that it is undectable by BMW diagnostics. Im waiting for there distribtor in the UK to get tools to upgrade it. It will be about another 4 weeks.
What concerns me is that there is a slight flat spot. They say that this is due to the particle filter. The flat spot is worser with the upgrade. They say that all the new BMW's with the particle filter have this.

Yes strange. I think you are right. I mentioned it in another thread about this. But there is a flat spot when i drive slowly. Ill put my foot down from a standstill ill let you know if its still there.
Do you feel the flat spot when driving slowly? So are going to go for it then?
What im also worried about that the E60 is supose to have a black box that monitors everything. So if you get it remapped, they might find out.

You were right. The flat spot was caused by cautious use of the throttle. I drove slow today and i could tell. But then i put my foot down and you could not tell then. Thuis was very good news.
So Flavio, are you still going ahead with it?

I am going to drive my car for a few months before I decide to do the Kempower upgrade or not. I am not too worried about reliability.
