chip or remap detection

If your car is chipped or remapped bmw has a small little trick to find out in 3 seconds without opening the hood.
Just push the day counter millage reset stick that is situated on your dashboard behind the wheel. Press it for 4 seconds. If a triangle apears with a ! sign in it that means its remapped.
Test it out
If no triangle appears its still original

I think you may be wrong. Its just a warning that you're trying to access info that you're not supposed to.
Can anyone pls verify this please.

[/quote]will check my 200kms... so for sure ir is stock but in Spet when I have 4000kms I go too to heinz, who carez.-))
Chipped is better, anyway this all is bs.. as mine has reduced perfomance instead of 218 bhp in Belgium not to pay 5000? for reg, we have the 207 bhp-made by BMW AG, so they chipped mine also, in the factory, but will check this.

I can tell you FOR SURE, that they can see it.
They can even tell you how often you used the remote to open the doors, how often you used different options, how you drive... They can see EVERYTHING!
Trying to find a problem with the power/battery in my car, my dealer was able to tell me when and how often I used stuff and how I drive...
There is NO stealth tune! Definately!!
