chip or remap detection

I want to know what happens when you have had chip tuning done, then go in for a software update and it includes new ECU software amoungs others
Does it just wipe out your chip tuning ?

The reason the tuning companys say it doesn't affect the warranty is because they give you a warranty instead. But that warranty is not the same, since it is a one or two, maybe three year warranty on their parts only. They will never ever tell you the truth, that the BMW warranty is voided, since they want to sell their products.

They can even tell you how often you used the remote to open the doors, how often you used different options, how you drive... They can see EVERYTHING!
Trying to find a problem with the power/battery in my car, my dealer was able to tell me when and how often I used stuff and how I drive...

This is very funny!! you should stay off the goji juices. They cannot tell if the checksums are correct or else the vehicle would not be able to start
I already asked about this and it is not an issue for my new chipped 545
