^^^worked for RPI, and as OP stated, its bent pieces of sheet metal.

BTW how are things in Starke? talk about middle of nowhere, FL

its not just bent pieces of sheet metal. many hours went into the R&D of the scoops, everything dyno tested and the version that made the most power is the one that was put into production.

prototypes were definitely bent pieces of metal that were pop-riveted together; I've seen the pictures/threads. the final product is certainly a nice piece, but I too have struggled with forking over $100 for it. Maybe someday I'll pony up for it, maybe not. Who knows. Who cares.

Can you point me to where I can find pictures of it for the 530 e60, I would greatly appreciate it.
I used to build all kinds of stuff for racing cars and I know I can make one of these for my own car.
