Don't think they have any other retailers so if you want a new one, you have to go through Valentine.
If you still want it cheaper, you'll have to go the eBay route (or something similar...)

V1 is only sold direct to consumers via the 800# or web. This detector is always either the first or second choice on every shoot out. I owned his (Mike Valentine's) original Escort, then a Passport (X4), and now have the UPDATED V1's in all cars. He trys pretty hard to keep up with changing technology, and allows you to upgrade a model down the road. Godspeed young man.

I don't know of any place where a V1 can be bought at a significant discount. Man up and pay the MSRP. And Spend a few extra bucks and get the stealth install kit too - I've seen these things installed on a few cars when I used to work for a dealership - IMO well-worth the dough. I never got one cuz I can't justify needing one with the way I drive. But if I had to get one, this would be the setup I'd go with - no competition.

valentine is the best and a conceled kit is highly recommended...also if u are a speeder i would reccomend a laser jammer...it used to be as cops would drive with their radar guns on and valentine would pick em right up..now cops are hiding around and using laser guns and they dont keep their radar guns on anymore..i got stopped...doing 90 in a 50 zone by a laser..he was just sitting thr i saw him valentine went off with the laser alert..and i knew i was F*#?%d...luckly i had a pba card i apologized and he let me go ...

V1 is overrated.. Arrows smarrows..
I rather have the new passport 9500xi that detects traffic light camera, speed trap, and storing all the false alarms via GPS.
