Does anyone know a good/cheap/reliable place to find a replacement CCC unit. I have the part number but I honestly have no idea where to start looking. If anyone can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! The part # is 65 83 9 123 088. Also, this is for a 2006 525i build date 2/06 with navigation but no 6disc CD changer. Is it possible to replace it with one with the 6disc CD changer?

Try thebmwpartstore.com to get a quote first, then search other online places such as autohaz (???), Tischer, then give Gary a call since he does give forum member discount.
Pm mod Gene, he should be able to guide you to some good places.

id say look at your local junkyards....esp ones w/ part guarantees....thats how i found my LM2 unit and LCI tails at reasonable prices....beyond that look on the forums...tons of members selling them as well...
but careful, i had to buy two seperate systems bc a user on this forum sold me a defective unit and ran w/ my money to the bank....i still need to post an alert on him....very shady and has sold stuff on the forum before. shame shame.
