And I came to think: What happens to the can bus connections if you remove them from the CID? You can´t remove anything connected to the MOST bus but how about the can bus?
Is reprogamming needed when you connect or disconnect parts from can too? If you for example replace the steering wheel with one from e 46, don´t you get issues from that?
Or do the car just accept this and go on working with only the dashboard volume control?
I like the look of this but since I´m in a country with cold winters I´m not sure about the touchscreen working in 20 degr Celsius below zero.
