Hey guys,So due to my daily commute on a country highway, the amount of bugs that are becoming molded into the paint on the bonnet and bumper is starting to really annoy me, to the point where a good pressure wash wont even get them all off. So my question is are there any good and stylish car bras anyone can recommend, and if so please post pics. Thanks in advance

They're not 'molded' in your paint. detail thoroughly, use a good product. a nice acrylic sealer will do and that's it, they wont be too hard to get off when you wash your car at least once a month. wipe the bug areas first, let soak while you do rest of car and come back. Pressure washing isn't going to do anything besides ruin your paint. a bra will trap moisture, dirt and grime and that isn't better/easier than cleaning bugs off.

So a acrylic sealer will help get the bugs off or keep them from sticking to the paint? And are there any recommended brands?

A bra covered in bugs will look worse than a bumper covered in bugs. The bugs are not coming off because you are leaving them on there too long. Use some bug/tar remover, micro-fiber towels with light rubbing, a clay bar and maybe even a machine polish.

leave a bottle of spray detailer and micro-fiber towels handy where you can wipe the bumper and hood down as often as it takes. This is of course AFTER you get the mess you got now cleaned up properly, sealed/waxed.

A good sealer like Nu Finish or Shine and Shield works wonders. I discovered the Shine and shield while at a flea market and I swear by this stuff. I've used it on bikes, friend's jet ski, his boat and all of my vehicles and I am telling you 3 light coats of this stuff and a bi-monthly wash and they wont stick hard. They'll come right off after a simple wash without any hard rubbing. The guy is no longer at the flea market where I purchased it but i found him online and contacted him. lol. yes that's how good the stuff is

perhaps a good detail and then consider a clear bra rather than car bra...

WORD TO THE WISE AND I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE DONT DO IT !!!!!! THE BRA AFTER A WHILE WILL KILL YOUR PAINT ON YOUR FRONT BUMPER. I HAD ON ON MY E46 FOR LIKE 3 YEARS AND EVEN AFTER FREQUENTLY TAKING IT OFF TO WASH UNDERNEITH IT I ENDED UP GETTING THE WHO;E FRONT END REPAINTED. IF WNAT A LIL PROTECTION ON THERE WHAT I WOULD DO IS LIKE WHAT I DID ON MY 530 IS PUTTING THE CLEAR PLASTIC WRAP ON THE FRONT THAT SHRINK WRAPS THE FRONT OF THE CAR. LOOKS A WHOLE LOT BETTER AND DOES THE JOB. IF YOU HAVE THE $. GET THE CAR PAINTED 1ST THEN PUT THE WRAP ON IT
