1. The M5 front looks nice, but it doesn't necessarily fit perfect with a regular 5 series.
2. The M-tech front fits well, but it doesn't look as aggressive.
3. The ACS front looks cool initially, but it's beginning to look dated.
4. The breyton front looks cool initially, but upon closer inspection, it looks empty/flimsy at the bottom (it has no bottom cover)
5. The hamann is expensive and looks like previous model bimmer.
6. The Reiger looks to "ricy" and expensive.

Could you post pics of your front end that could help me to decide which one to purchase? I'd like to say below the $500 mark for the bumper itself (painted would be awesome). Thanks.

Get the Mtech.

Its you best bet for the best fit and money.

If you get an M5 bumper, it definitely looks better than the Mtech, but fitting becomes and issue. You would have to get the M5 fenders, which would cost more. And you lose your foglights too.

Here's a pic of my front. It doesn't look too bad. I've come to accept the look and enjoy the OEM fit.

I did think of getting the M5 front before this, but it was too much of a hassle and I would have to spend more money on it.

Good luck and once you are done, post pics.

Here's my E60 w/ Rieger front bumper. Looks aggressive and the fitment is perfect!!! But with your budget so limited, you might find something that is used ones or go for AC style replica... more cheaper... Good Luck!!!

How much would a used Reiger go for? It doesn't look ricey on your car.

I got a price of a used M5 front for about $200-250 locally, but I think nigxdoof is right about the hassle and fitment issue.

I think the M5 front does look better than the M-tech, but IMHO, not "enough" better to justify the extra hassle and expense. They are very similar.

I would get the M-tech front, but I will say they will become "a dime a dozen".

+1 m5 bumper , im getting mine installed next week! i believe fitment should'nt be much of an issue if your body shop knows what they are doing. it may not be a 100% fitment, but it can be very close to it.

I don't really know the price of used rieger front bumper... probably $300-$400.. but if you know somebody (auto body shop) who will install the M5 front bumper why not go for it.. they might just ask some more money to install since it has a fitment issue.. I did install my front bumper, did not have a hard time... it fits really good...
