The holes are for cooling the front breaks, I love that feature. You see we think it is only a design element, but hey no, that has a function. They have also the side sills (rear breaks), roof spoiler for more ground force, ultra light wheels,etc.

that is good one day you will also change your mind, becareful the more you look at it grows on you, see this what happened with me 
BTW they are not yet on, not yet produced but soon will be then for sure I will show it. ( that is a PS job of B, our member with 21", mine will be 20" that suits normal e60 better IMO.)Thx.

I agree, there's a price to pay for a good unique look, but IMHO hamann kit is just unacceptably expensive.
It's just a kit, no mechanical parts, no increase in performance (maybe a little in aerodynamics) and it's probably the first thing that would get damaged amongst your other mods. It's just a nightmare thinking of getting a scratch on your newly bought $4000 kit, or even worse an irepairable damage that'd force you to buy a replacement.
All that being said, maybe that's exactly the price that we have to pay for a diferent look.
Anyway, yes hamann also grew on me the more i look at it. Used to have m-kit as my first pick but not anymore =)

NO offence, hi mate do not wanna educate anybody but let's be fair and clear things. For damages search for "stone chips HM" see my spoiler, it is now repaired I say to people if you feel where it is repaired I give you my car! YOu know I am still driving MAMBA with fun.
Why HAMANN? Design and trendy elements HAVE function not "little" but enough, reduce of drag, and experience is gain during 20 yrs of winning in Motorsports. That is what I respect, and this brand is for unique and not "mass" produced tuning cars, it is cevlar-fiber or cevlar-carbon they use not "plastic". No offence, I spared for all the parts, I got some friends they bought the car from factory and sent them and only get it back w 005 kms on clock w full kits and all, it is only matter on our resources, hey E60 is not a cheap car so, I never get when people are talking about kits, rims how much it costs. Hope could help you to see a bit better.
front, no kidneys better ventilation for engine+the front holes for break front ventilation are not trendy stuff
side sills (on order but I build it step by step aim is end of yr) is for ventilating for the rear breakes and reduce drag see the design of them.
roof spoiler at high speeds reduces drag again.(will be real CF)
ultra light wheels give better traction and safety, you can be faster in corners (on order).
See, I gave a hard job my car on Hockenheimring, and there were V8s and many high perf. cars like Ferrari, but mine was far not the slowest, it bet some petrols too even E60
It is exclusive and that will never happen when you see 10 cars and 5-6 of it is either Hartge or ACS, there is none E60 HM for the moment in this region, but if there would I would not mind, da club is growing.
