I know its a wierd question, but I would like to use higher profile tires and it would be ideal if I could find stiffer springs that offer a small increase in ride height (1/2 inch). I think the M sport springs would raise a 550 sport, but I don't know if you can go mixing and matching like that... Any info. on taller springs?

Thanks,
DRP

Racing Dynamics has some E60 M5 springs on sale for $120. Try 'em out.

coilovers are fully adjustable, so maybe if you get coilovers and jack them up...?

Most if not all the coilovers I've run into drop the car inch on the highest setting.

hollywoodtrash had coilovers with his 20" rads. at the most recent socal launch meet, shoot... he was rubbing. and since it was coilovers we told him to raise it, and he said its the highest setting. me and vt were pretty much shocked that it could actually go lower than the height he had at that time.

Yea, HR drop it 1.1 on highest setting. So with a coilover setup, its still lowering the car regardless.
