California V1 owners...can you please share your experiences?

How effective are they for use here in our State? I've owned other brands over the years but they were pretty much worthless and now after 5 years or so of not having owned one, I'm debating whether or not I should pick one up.

really effective for me. i live in bay area and v1 helps me a lot on the freeways. cops here using Ka alert type radars. Sometimes laser. Everything else is the crap. In the city is not that effective, too much alerts. Depends what kind of driving you do

I don't have one, but everyone who had one on the way to Mfest swares by them...I tried to stick next too the guys that had them...I hear they are the shit....I'm thinking of buying one now also...

dont have one but I borrowed one last year on the way to mfest last august and it works for sure, didnt really use it in cali though because I returned it once I got back hahaha. well worth it in my opinion.
