A big thank you to everyone involved in this discussion, I'm going to follow the unanimous view and won't buy replicas.
I'm thinking (just) use the OEM 19" 128s rims instead of the 21" but maybe lower the car wich seems high with the 19" in my opinion.
To NeRwEEzy: I would like to see some pictures of your car if you don't mind.

Thank you for these information and your pics .
128s are very classy nevertheless I find the 19" not big enough on the e60; maybe it's just because the standard setup is too high .
Anyway, just my point of view.

i know it would look so much better if my car was dropped.. and maybe your point of view would change.. just my opinion. although i most probably am not going to be dropping my car as i wanted before due to parking at certain places and risking my bumper and my narrow steep driveway to my garage.

I think you should still push for some 21inch or at least 20inch but just dont buy replica or some no name brand wheels. I'll send you a PM with a place that is well known and has good pricing on wheels with a variety of sizing

Contact www.salesafter.de !!
This is a BMW dealer in Germany and the ship throughout Europe (at fair prices)!
I've bought 5 sets from them and I'm 100% satisfied.

Do you have sports package with Sports suspension on yours? or just standard 525i/530i suspension
