Thumbs up

I'm looking for a set of 4 rims style 128 in 21" for my 530 ; I saw that "Wheels and Caps" sells these on eBay (for e65).
This seller seems reliable and I just would like some advice about its products (as I live in France, I don't want to be deceived by appearances...).
Please don't tell me 21 is too much or other things like that; my next car will be an e65 and I'll use the rims on it...

add on eBay

I saw thos rims also, but keep in mind that they are replicas and there are many posts here about replicas and the problems that members have had. If you want the the bmw look stay with OEM ,but if you want bling, or racing rims then it wont really matter. Just my opinion.

Shoot Monacobmw a PM and ask him what he thinks of replica's. He has the most hellish story of buying replica 166 rims. Go the OEM route and save yourself the hassle.

I almost bought replicas, but I've read a lot about vibration issues. Something minor like floor mats can be replicas, but wheels? Nah, save yourself the headache.

Not worth the risk.

I'd buy the 19" genuine BMW rims (like style 172 or similar). They'll suit the car better, guaranteed, and for the same price. Also, these rims will DEVALUE your car. I would not touch a car with 21" replicas on it.

Replicas are usually garbage and cause vibration now if people are having problems with 19s can you imagine running a 21inch replica? :'(

The replicas are awful. It is hit or miss.
"Wheels and Caps" seemed to be very friendly in suggesting that they would take back the replicas if they casued vibration. The Wheels and Caps replicas (19") also seem to be hubcentric for BMW. That being said, a 21" wheel is not made for the BMW so it may not be hubcentric.

If you must have 21", your only options are probably replicas. Make sure that you get a guarantee ahead of time from the seller. Most will not take back the wheels once you mount them.

Don't forget that these BMWs are considered the most sensitve cars to wheel vibration. OEMs will make your ride nicer, but if you need to go with 21" wheels, proceed with caution.

im rocking those rims but not replicas. and mine are 19''. since you dont want to hear that 21'' is too much, then ill just say that 21'' was not recommended at all. 19'' is big enough though dont you think? stay away from replicas.. you dont know what will happen with them and what kind of quality they are. if its oem, you know that you got damn good quality right there, but of course the choice is up to you.. no shame there. good luck.
