My Ride: E60 2003 530i, Leather, silver grey metalic,

Does anybody out there know if i have business Nav on my BMW 530i with a DVD disk 2003-2 version, and i changed the DVD to a Professional 2005-2 verison would it would and upgrade my navigation on the idrive. As i'm sure all of you are aware business is arrow view i just wondered if by changing disks to Professional i would get Map view. Many Thanks

Business has a 6.5" screen and arrow only, Pro has a 8.5" split screen so you get maps as well

No chance.
Although I do recommend that you upgrade your DVD, 2003-2 is very old. If you upgrade to a newer business DVD then you will get TMC functions and more up-to-date maps. I believe the latest Business DVD is 2005-1, 2005-2 should be out shortly.

Only the CCC can read the data and display a map on the CID. The MAS-K can't do it. That's why TV function requires nav pro...

That means, no video/graphics without pro nav.
