My Ride: 530d Sport, Mystic Blue, Dakota leather,Professional Navigation,BMW Assist, Blue Tooth Prep +telematics, 6 Disc Changer, ML/Alloy 8jx18", Graduated Tint windscreen, Auto-Dim Int + folding Mirrors, Comfort Seats - Electric, Through Load system inc Ski Bag, Bi Xenon Headlights plus washer system, Automatic Air Conditioning-Advanced, HiFi Speaker System, Fitted Floor Mats, clear bra
Car is not due for another 5 weeks, and I have a question about radio. I did not choose the TV option, but at the time I noticed the TV tuner was digital and could pick up Freeview. With UK models is the radio capable of receiving DAB signals?
If not has anybody had any joy with fitting DAB units such as REVO or the like?

I had a 750i on loan for a couple of days...it had the digital freeview tuner but to be honest, the reception was crap, my analog one was way better.......Interestingly enough, the 750i did NOT get the freeview radio channels......shame as I'd have planet rock on all the time!

I have an E90 with TV which I guess is pretty much the same as th E60 but although it has digital TV it cannot pick up the radio station on Freeview. Which is a shame as I wanted to listen to 5 Live without the hiss!

BMW has no DAB radio yet. This is "too new", so it will take another decade for those lazy engineers. Just remember how long it took them to bring MP3 playback to the E60... Oh wait... Pro nav cars still don'T have it...
