has anyone experienced and distortion/crackling noise from their tweeters on the BSW stage 1 system for standard audio systems. my system is only 2 months old and it has pretty much done this from the beginning. bass, treble, balance & fade are all set at center and i'm not blasting the volume all the way up. i'm gonna call BSW and ask them but i wanted some feedback from you guys too.

thanks.

I have the BSW Stage 1's installed with my L7 system. No problems at all.

thanks guys.....it's weird cuz it's not like a blown speaker just a slight cracking noise like the tweeter is maxed out but the volume level is only half way. i contacted BSW and they said the speaker sets come with a "4 YEAR WARRANTY". i never knew that so that is awesome!

Perhaps recheck that specific tweeter's wiring connections?

what do the guys with L7 and upgraded bsw speakers think of them. would you recommend them? is it a huge improvement over the stock L7?

J, let us know how it all plays out in the end, bud! Hope it will be painless - wouldn't expect a company like BSW to give you any trouble.

You probably checked this, but there is a known issue with radio giving some distortion after getting tint, but that's easily identifiable by playing a CD.

BSW is great, they gave me no hassle what-so-ever. i tried playing a CD as well as Sirius and both do it.
