has anyone experienced and distortion/crackling noise from their tweeters on the BSW stage 1 system for standard audio systems. my system is only 2 months old and it has pretty much done this from the beginning. bass, treble, balance & fade are all set at center and i'm not blasting the volume all the way up. i'm gonna call BSW and ask them but i wanted some feedback from you guys too.
thanks. |

thanks guys.....it's weird cuz it's not like a blown speaker just a slight cracking noise like the tweeter is maxed out but the volume level is only half way. i contacted BSW and they said the speaker sets come with a "4 YEAR WARRANTY". i never knew that so that is awesome!

Perhaps recheck that specific tweeter's wiring connections?
|
what do the guys with L7 and upgraded bsw speakers think of them. would you recommend them? is it a huge improvement over the stock L7?

J, let us know how it all plays out in the end, bud! Hope it will be painless - wouldn't expect a company like BSW to give you any trouble.
You probably checked this, but there is a known issue with radio giving some distortion after getting tint, but that's easily identifiable by playing a CD. |
