I really mean that. I didn't do as good job in the vent corners as you have done.

how are you getting the side trim pieces off of the steering wheel? do they clip on/ clip off or are you wrapping them still attached to the wheel?

Nah, it is because 3M's is a lot easier to work with. I actually didn't even had to use heat very much. And no soapy water method either.

That's the only part I didn't take off to do. I did it with the steering wheel on. The bottom pieces are extremely easy to do, and does not need to be taken off to do near or perfect job. The top pieces, however, if they can be taken off, it would help with the holes and definitely make it perfect. The only thing is, I don't know how to take the steering wheel off, and I have read of horror stories when people do take off the steering wheel. Since I am rather prong to breaking things on my first go, I figure I would play it safe.

It's easy to take the steering wheel off, you just need someone to hold the wheel straight for you while you wrench on the nut holding it on. After that just unscrew and you're done, but to remove the trim just pop the airbag out and then unscrew the pieces you want to remove.

Ah Derrick, if I had you here, I would totally try it! I actually have plenty of material to do the top parts too, hehe. So like I said, I will probably get around to making it perfect

Actually it's not hard taking the steering wheel off, take it from me I damn nearly ruined my old steering wheel learning. As long as you disconnect the battery unlike me so you don't get that idrive error message about the air bag. Get a screw driver and stick it under the steering wheel and the air bag should pop off. From there you have couple screws to pop off and your good
