Well, I finally started my install of all the lights I purchased from forum member brabusw209amg (John). I thought I would start off with the easiest, the LED lights for the license plate. The left bracket came off just fine. Sure enough, I promptly broke the right bracket. Here's a picture of the brackets Broke license plate light bracket-p1230187.jpg

I have been searching Tischer BMW's web site for the replacement part, but cannot find it. Does anyone know the part name or number?

If I keep having this kind of luck, it's going to be an expensive light replacement proposition. If anyone has some words of wisdom before I begin tackling the fogs, headlamps, and angel eyes, please send them along. I would like to know if I will be able to install all three of these once I remove the head lights from the car?

I have searched for a DIY install for fogs, and there are a couple out there, but nothing as detailed as I would like. And, from my searching it seems as though I am not the only one out there looking for help / instructions for installing fogs. So, I'll try to put something together once I am finished.

Here's what I purchased from brabusw209amg:
MTEC V2
8000K D1S
8000K Fogs
Interior LEDs
License plate lamps

Thanks!

Are you referring to the black color housing that holds the tube / festoon light bulb? If so, it is part 63267165646, about $7 USD.

I used the RDash units from John, and have the BMW housings left over. You may be able to locate a local member with the BMW housings left over from the RDash unit installation.
