My Ride: In a place where the Mercedes density is the highest in the world (no. of MB per square kilometer) I choose a Bimmer, why? because of one thing "The Ultimate Driving Experience" My Ride: 523i Steptronic, Silver Grey Exterior, Black Interior with Black Dakota Leather and Maple Wood Trim. Got em, 1700 miles and no problems and plenty of tread.
I heard bad things from others about RFTs, in the rain but I just drove from Montreal to NYC in a blistering storm and they handled superbly.
Maybe the tire is still new.

But even on dry roads, the RFT seems to bounce over the road a bit. Could be the stiff sidewall.

26,000 miles and looking at 5000 more. No signs of excessive road noise. Have the 275/35/19 rear and 245/40/19 front. No rotation but all seem to wearing even. I stay on top of my pressure, checking no less than every two weeks and adjusting to near top of BMW recommendation.
