Continuing on with my series of lighting mods, this week, member Brabusw209amg (John) installed LED reverse lights in my ride. This install is not a mere plug and play job. Rather, it requires a significant amount of labor and requires the removal of the tails so that the work can be performed. As usual, John did a terrific job and my new LED reverse lights look really beautiful and bright. John also incorporated resistors (a $2 part in Radio Shack) into my LED license plate lights to eliminate the error message. The LED reverse lights (as well as my HID fogs and my LED interior lights are all error free). Thanks a million John.
Here are the pics of the installed LED reverse lights in action in my garage. To highlight the new LED reverse lights, I turned off the headlights (and the license plate LED lights):
Next up, we will be installing 6000K headlights to match my 6000K HID fogs and will be installing GP Thunder 8500K bulbs for the angel eyes. Then, I will be done with the lighting mods.

Looks great Scott!!
Jon would have never known to do this without me.. =)
This method is so much better than just crappy bulbs.

looks great scott! doesnt it brighten up the area behind you now? i know it does to my rear yard
The LED reverse lights produce a lot more light than the OEM backup lights. It is like night and day. You can see the intensity of the lighting in my pics.

Nice. I really like it. Great job as usual, John.
OK, I guess I am hooked on lighting mods.
But I am have the finish line in sight with the 6000K headlights and the 8500K GP Thunder bulbs for the AEs.

Looks good OP ... just some of the pics made me a lil dizzy ..
John, whenever I get a chance to go to NY again and you have free time, I'll stop by your house and you can do the install for me. Maybe Thursday this week?
