When are you changing the headlight to 6000k? I want to see how they match to the fogs
We will change the headlights as soon as they come in. John has ordered them. I would think that it will be this week. At that poiint we will also put in the 8500k GP Thunder AE bulbs.

And yes I will post pics after they are in.

Damn Scott!! them LEDS are bright as hell! Looks real good brotha John just changed my lowbeam bulbs for my SLK, it was a bitch to change it for the SLK Fogs tomorrow! What would we do without John? haha
Thanks Alex. Given how unhandy I am, without John's help I wouldn't be doing any of these lighting mods. But for those who are even the least bit handy, they all seem pretty easy with the exception of the LED reverse lights.

Thanks Vlad. I think that after we put in the 6000K headlights and the 8500K GP Thunder AE bulbs,I might be done with lighting mods for a while.

Then again, the eyebrow mod does look sooo nice. .

How long did it take you to put in the 6000K Fog Lights? Cost?

Not a chance. You won't be seeing me sporting new exhaust or body pieces. The lighting stuff is tiny and compact but has a big visual punch. And my car already has the M Tech kit as standard equipment.

I'd love twin RPI scoops but I don't want to drill into the car as I might have trouble on lease return.

The only other mod I was seriously considering was the Dinan Stage 1 ECU remap. However, given the recent threads, it does not appear to increase power. If it doesn't, I don't want it. Removing the 155 mph limiter is not important to me as I am never going that fast on the road -- too much risk.

And far as wheels go, I love the 172s (which I also need for lease return) and don't have room for another set of wheels (besides the winter ones that my mother in law reluctantly tolerates in her garage). If I had room, I'd pick up the Breyton Race GTS wheels or the VMR V710s.

So for me, once the lighting mods are done, the only other mod I might do is an ECU remap -- if I was aware of one with proven power gains. If I owned the car, I'd do the RPI exhaust which has significant proven power gains.

Looks good! Bright, just like I them.

Those of us in the Nordic Countries need to put some money to work and get John over here to do some mad lighting mod installs on our cars.

John can bring his parts direct to Stockholm from EWR, and do the installs in the parking garage at Arlanda!
