It's definitely the camera. It's too hard to capture HID AE and Orions on camera properly.

sdg1871 or John please chime in, is low beam even necessary at night with HID AE's?

Reason I ask is even though I have installed HID AE's, it was always during morning and afternoon, so I have actually never seen it at night.

The HID AEs are intensely bright. In terms of light output, you would have fine visibility with just HID fogs and HID AEs. But if you drive at night without the headlights on, you risk getting a ticket.

I was really astonished by just how bright and white the HID AEs are. When you are live, the AEs are clearly differentiated from the headlights. But my camera can't handle that much of an explosion of intense light.

My thoughts exactly. I think it's TOO bright and washes out the whole "Angel Eye" effect.

Very nice, Scott. I'm still waiting for John to come up with the HID license plate lights.

Trust me, it's the poor quality of the pics. In person, there is considerab?e differentiatiom betweem headlights and AEs.

Ha ha. My rDash LED license plate lamps are so bright already that I don't think I need HID license plate lamps. But you never know.

Nelson, and what a good club it is to be in.
