My Ride: 2005 BMW 545i - Alpine White - Mods : "We're working on it..."
Just curious, what dual exhaust systems do you recommend to use for the M5 Rear Bumper kit for a 2005 545i ?
Ive read postings about the burning of the bumper, so Im thinking either as someone stated you have to shave the bumper (which I kind of want to avoid..) or find an exhaust that fits best and fills up the gap as much as possible?
any suggestions?

First you have to get the stock tips cut off then install the bumper , because the stock ones dont line up with the m5 outlet hole .
My dealer fitted a shim under the stock exhaust .. And a week later I make the custom exhaust .

quote name='Fxdup5' post='461483' date='Aug 22 2007, 05:03 PM']I am trying to order the Original BMW M5 Rear Bumper (Dual Exhaust) and the BMW dealership is saying that it will not fit the 530i, is this true? I thought it wouldnt be a problem? If so, does there need to be any mods for it to fit?
Thanks! [/quote]
