Does the E46 also need a resistor?Because it won't give a fault i think in a E46 because it hasn't I-drive

got mine installed last night , just had to flip them around to no get the error codes...

the backing on them said like alpha-hid.com or tw....
They are tons brighter than the ones I have on my R32.

The ones from ebay are great. Why fool around with resistors and stuff like that???

I'm not sure if it will give an error on the E46's. If the ECU supports bulb out error detection, then you will most likely need a resistor.

The reason I chose OEM over aftermarket bulbs is because of the looks. They diffuse the light and look much better than the aftermarket LED's. Not to mention they last longer too. Aftermarket LED's tend to burn out fast.

Post some pics when you get a chance so we can all compare how oem diffuses light much better than ebay bulbs.
