Well first of all when some one refers to GHETTO slang that kinda gets under my skin, that inferrances that only African Americans use the language, which is far from true or when someone puts chrome on there car they are a Rapper, Drug dealer, or a pimp far from true. There are numerous older Caucasion ladies and gentleman with 20's 22's chrome and even spinners on there taureses and mercedes here in Va. The use of the given name of Ebonics, or slang would suffice. just my .02 worth. As for the car not my taste but i think that white may be the only color that could pull off the clears, as far as the chrome most BMW people shrug at the use of chrome on the ground and i just dont like the white inserts maybe some clears would look better there, the bumper is a large area and needs to be broken up in some way, anyway bra it was your 50g's son so your whip is your castle (little ebonics fo yo azz dog)

(this calls for a repost of this pic..)
Purely a personal opinion of course, but that has to be the ugliest, tackiest and cheapest looking car I have seen in a long time. Truly, truly disgusting. Pair of furry dice in the windscreen just to top it off?
What do you really think James?
I'm with you though.
Another thing that bothers me.
Am I doing something wrong here? I spend a large part of my life trying to get to where I am now, financially, and I see these kids ruining a 50,000 dollar (or 55.000GBP in my case) car like that. Comes across to me as they either have plenty or they scraped whatever they had together and haven't learned the value of it yet.
Where does the money come from?

I'm with you on that, FF. If I had taken to these cars at an early age, I would have been ruined for life. Much better for me to be able to own them later.
but i think it's about refinement of tastes... and working hard for what you get...
While it was true my parents bought me my E46.. i paid for all the mods and maintenence from internships and stocks and what not......
my incoming 5er.. i'm paying on my own..... i work at an I-bank now....bust my @ss cuz i like expensive toys............... so while my parents whet my appetite for these fine vehicles.. it is up to me to pay to play..............
soon i'll be going back to school for a JD and MBA so i can work on buying house..........................

Personally I don't care how people are able to own such a car. I have to work my butt off so I can afford one and that makes owning the car a big joy and I appreciate it very much.
There will always be people who will earn more money or have a more easy going life then me because it's paid for them but I don't care really. I just hope for them they get the same joy out of the car as I do.

I don't see anything wrong with buying a car right after school. A house would be nice, but a $300K+ purchase could be a bit much for a young, single guy.
