Thumbs up

CAn someone help shed some light on the BMW ACM module for me? From what I gather so far, this unit is something simular to DomNavTV unit that he is selling. This ACM module is a BMW EOM part that allows the e60 i-drive display unit to be capable of hooking up a DVD player and back up camera. I am interested in this module, but like to know more about it and what I would need to know if wanting to purchase and installing.

1. Is this unit available in US market yet?
2. Is the picture quality better than Dom's NavTV unit?
3. CAn the unit be controlled via i-drive knob?
4. Does the car need a software update?
5. How does it compare to the NavTV unit that is currently out?

Any input in this matter is appreciated....thanks all.

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to figure out the cost to add a rear view camera to the ACM unit. I contacted EuroRev and they quoted $1100 for parts and labor. That seems really high. Does anyone know if this is a good deal?

Thanks
Mike

It seems like people outside the states had the ACM unit installed, but is there anyone in the US that can comment on cost, procedures, install, warranty, ect.

thanks again,
