This is the EXACT same thing that BMW sells. Mine is currently in my car, works perfectly, charges the ipod, gives you idrive and steering wheel control and the sound is crisp and clear!

Interesting.....if you are willing to take a chance on eBay they have them for $4.34 including shipping (Just bought mine via Amazon as I not a gambler and was going to take 3-4 weeks for delivery as it ships from Hong Kong) eBay Link Will give an update once it arrives and I install on our 2011 550i F10.

I thought with the F10's you can use the actual apple iPod cable (white cable) now/no need for the 6fl cord

Tried it again just now and indeed it integrates and works perfectly (now the question is can I stop the order?!?!)

My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.

The Y cable from Amazon.com works great. Currently use it in my 2009 and it works with both my iPod Touch & iPhone 4.
