they're both great cars. its not about the money for anyone, the price difference is under 10k. it all comes down to personal preference. both are amazing cars. but.. when the v8tt does finally arrive, it will be king. period lol

I was told by my dealer that they have stopped doing Dinan flashes because of emissions issues. That information was supplied to all service managers at the dealership today. The person I talked to said that the changes created by the reflash may be illegal as far as emissions are concerned. I don't know if he is reffering to federal or state emissions. I also read the same thing on N54tech.com coming from a dealer in another part of the country.
My dealer is still a Dinan dealer and I'm sure if BMWNA required your dealers to stop selling Dinan products it would apply to everyone.

The warranty does get voided by BMW if the problems with car are caused by the Dinan upgrade and that is when the Dinan warranty kicks in. Of course, just hope there are no back and forth going on meanwhile to prove what actually caused the problem while the car sits.
