I bought a THA 555 amp end of last year from blue spot , but been putting it on hold till now to install it , installed it now since made redundant from work so catching up on all projects ...

Installed green power light comes on but no sound .

There high inputs are working as if I connect the high inputs directly to the output wires ( no amp ) it plays audio ( direct from head unit to speakers )
Indicates to me faulty amp

judging by the fact you made a duplicate thread, and replied in the empty thread.....i'm guessing you're not paying attention to all the details.

Funny .... Seriously i've done plenty of amps before , but this one just doesn't play nice ...

I've been trying for over week now try all sorts of ideas and test to try to find why but still comes down to faulty amp

I think turboawd has a point. If you think the amp is faulty (sounds like you've got it all figured out), then send it back under warranty. There's not much speculation/troubleshooting a bunch of forums members are going to be able to do for you given limited info and not knowing what could have been toasted during the "test" trial you performed? Good luck.

where did you tap into for the speaker output? does your car have a factory amp?

why not take another radio's speaker output and connect it to the high input?
