blacking out chrome around windows; how to?

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
I did it twice with paint, satin black then gloss black, didn't like the look. Then I used vinyl, gloss black, looks MUCH better.

yup use bmwshadowline.com vinyl ($27) and looks just as good, well as long as you have some kind of vinyl experience/skills...saves you lots of money and work to take off and replace all the trim...

HAHAHA I had no vinyl experience at all, but it's still pretty easy - especially since I took the trim off the car.
