There is a member on the forum from the UK who just did his entire car with matt black. I'll look for the post and link it to this thread. I think Blue and Black look ok together. Hey at least it's not painted on and if you don't like it afterwards you can take it off and lose only the cost of installation.

Hi Guys,
Has anyone used this on there car?
shadowline
I have seen a few white cars with a black roof and think it looks really cool, but my e60 is mystic blue, has anyone seen this product or a proper black paint job on the roof of any other coloured cars?
What do you think guys?
Pics would be good.

I think putting a black roof ( which is supposed to look like a carbon fiber roof) is as silly as adding a m5 badge to a non m car. If it is not available as a factory option leave it alone. No need to be a poser in a BMW.
here's a pic from a while back...personally, I like my black roof!

I don't think that painting your roof black is being a poser...but I definitely think that putting an M badge on is. A black roof isn't representing something that really isn't there..it's a black roof! I think it looks good..it smooths out the lines of the car and makes it look more streamlined rather than if you're looking at the car and seeing glass to silver to moonroof to silver to glass...it allll looks cleeeeeean! but to each their own!

If you did vynil how did you do the bluetooth bit.
I am in the process of trying to find a shop locally to me to do a vynil black roof on my titanium grey E60, i think it will match up well with the tints, CF theme and shadowline (hopefully coming soon)

I dont know what all you guys are talking about, but I think it looks great on E60's
I going to get my roof wrapped in vinyl very soon.
The only problem I have is whether to get black or carbon fiber.
I think it will only look good on a modded out E60, with rims and body kit.
Here are some pics from member graham_the_baker, Enjoy
