Hi Guys,

Has anyone used this on there car?

shadowline

I have seen a few white cars with a black roof and think it looks really cool, but my e60 is mystic blue, has anyone seen this product or a proper black paint job on the roof of any other coloured cars?

What do you think guys?

Pics would be good.

I don't think it would look good. Even if it does look good, it's down to how you do it and I can see that it may not look good unless installed by a professional who is quite skilled at it. I could be wrong and may change my mind if someone show's some decent pictures but I wouldn't do it.

leave your car alone. Black roofs, in my opinion, look silly.

i got a friend who did it on his e46 and it was a silver car. didnt look good.
i think it only looks good if the car is white because of the high contrast.

Why not just get a vinyl roof with some opera lamps ?
I can remember my parents having that on a Lincoln Town car in the 80s

I think a white e60 with a black roof would look sharp, and I've even thought about it for my car. Silver may work, but as mentioned above, the contrast just isn't there.

I wouldn't do it. I think it cheapens a great car.
