Black roof on an alpine white car?

My Ride: 2005 Alpine White 530i
Was contemplating applying vinyl to my roofline to make it either a gloss or flat black on my alpine white 5.... Anyone done that yet? Anyone have an opinion on how that looks? I think with the CF roundels/centercaps/splitter it may look hot.... Also have a pretty dark tint so it should blend nicely.
