Yes, it's totally illegal to tint your front windscreen by any amount here in the UK.

not legal in USA but i still went and applied 70% solar guard and 28% all around....honestly, should have went wit 50% cuz u really cant tell.....if your shop can do it i say GO FOR IT!!

It's legal if you have out of state tags I lived in Cali for 10 years and had 5% on all windows (except windshield of course), and never had any issues....got a lot of stares from CHP, but never pulled over for it

Yes it's a problem here in NJ too....as I found out on my first morning commute to work after getting my tints!

I've got 70% on my front and 20% (or was that 30%?) on sides/back. In Taiwan I'm not sure if it's legal or not, but the car dealer will tint them all with the front being a bit lighter if you wish (me, it was for easier night driving).

In the EU it is totally illegal and they will not let you drive with it.
First cop that sees you stops you and will not let you drive off with it. If you can't take it off the car will be towed.
