Just an update - after contacting Bilstein about the ride height being too low at the front (there was rubbing) and Bilstein promising to look into it, after 5 or 6 email chases later they don't even reply to me.

My dampening adjustors have completely seized and the front two are broken (free spinning). The front and rear ride height is also seized and will have to be removed and put into a vice to move them. Not good!

On this basis, and because of recommendations, I am going to replace the Bilstein PSS9 with a KW Variant 3 coilover kit, which has adjustable bounce and rebound. I'll keep you all posted as to progress.

Does Bilstein still offer the BTS kits? I have used them several times on BMW, with super results. Great ride quality and good looking height. I'll try to dig through the site and see if they have them (I know they still do in UK).....
