Do you absolutely swear that there is no resonance, or any other kind of obnoxious sound, when in any gear in the neighborhood of 1500-2000 RPM? Have you tested the sound thoroughly in this RPM range? If yes and yes, then I might consider a Dinan.
Gee, if you put it that way.....

To me there's no resonance. I know a few others here have the Dinan exhaust and maybe they can weigh in (bturkel and mihusky I believe).

My dilemma is that I have to trade out the BB at Bavarian Autosport for one they carry. The only other option is the Remus. Live and learn, right. I love Dinan also. I had it on my X5 4.4 and it was amazing.

I like Dinan because of their warranty and I also wanted to stick to a single vendor for performance mods. Other than that, my next choice would probably have been Remus. They sounded great from the sounds clip I've heard and I love their tips.

The Dinan won't work on the 530, only on the V8, according to BMW of Nashville. Plus, on the 2007, Dinan has no approved mods yet.

I don't agree about the B&B quality. Even the muffler is chromed and the fit is just right--assuming a proper installation.
Just hang on for a while and you'll see...and wait till you have a customer srvice issue.

I had one. B&B was great. Please read here. See the pics later in the thread. Even later in the thread I describe how I rasised the system a tad because I thought it should hang a little higher than B&B did.

If you do the BB, be prepared for a drone sound between 1000 and 2300 rpm. It sounds great above and below those levels.

Where can you get the supersprint for the e60?

Znod - After reading about vibration stories with B&B, I steered clear of them and went with Dinan after my SA promised me it would not disappoint. I can't say I've tested it with rigor you suggest above, nonetheless, I've been quite happy with it and have not heard any obnoxious resonance in the low rpms bands (I've had it since April). My second choice was a Remus.
