Is it possible to get some bigger chrome exhaust tips? I mean the very very end of the exhaust which comes out of the rear bumper. The ones one 530i are too thin. I wanted to go for whole new exhaust but that is too expansive and since no increase in power and slightly increased sound level that is not an option.
Also the most discouraging thing is the cutting and welding in case of the whole exhaust exchange and that is total noooo

So can I just swap the ends? What about 545 exhaust tips? I found it is a single part that can be ordered and costs only about 40$ each.

Anyone????
Hi Peter530i,

I'm with you, the exhaust tips look way too small on the six cylinder models.

But I'm not shure that only be changing the tips would do the job.

I see a lot of cars with larger tips, and they only look ridiculous because you can see the thin pipe within them.

In my opinion one should go to a workshop who can weld larger end exhaust parts to the muffler.

How difficult this would be I do not know.

Please let me know if you find an satisfactory solution.
