There is a AFE CAI for the 550i. It was on display on 61Mac11's 550i at Bimmerfest 2007 in the EuroBahn booth. I was told by EuroBahn that there is also one for the 545i. I'm looking into it. BTW, 61Mac11 has the AFE CAI and Remus exhaust on the 550i. It sounds good. The AFE will go well with your Remus, jet190rs.

Yeah. I noticed the same thing. I was looking around for AFE CAI for 550i and couldn't find them online but I know they have it. I'm thinking that there can't be that much of a difference where a AFE CAI for a 550i won't fit a 545i.

I'm looking through afe site and there are 2 types of intake, stage 1 and stage 2. What's the difference between these two(performance or sound)?
How was the installation? is it a DIY?
a sound clip would also be great.

You can find it on their website-the 525 is the same one for the 530-on the box it says 525/530 -I am pretty darn sure you will find it on the site for the 525-if not search 530 and I promise it is the exact same one used. They use the same engine and pretty much everything else so its no shocker
i just need a meaner sound. my friends rsx type r with Fujita Competition intake out roared my inline 6.
