My Ride: 2004 BMW 525i, 6 Speed Manual, Premium/Sport Pkg, Xenon Adaptive Light Control
Hello, I am hoping to get some assistance for forum members on obtaining better brakes for my 04 525i. This is typically the one of the first upgrade I perform on any vehicle I drive (and tires). I have noticed a front end wobble and slight noise when braking, had it checked and was told that this normal, sure when you cook the brakes and warp them. I got the car CPO and they are not going to be replaced unless I pay for them. That being said, I want better rotors and pads. I tend to drive spirited at times and want to have great stopping power without warping the rotors. I checked Modbargains in search of Brembos for this vehicle but did not find one for this vehicle. Are there better rotors for the 525i that members have used and can recommend? Also pads with little dust and great stopping power. Dust is not a deal breaker if it can stop the car well. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Try getting 535d brakes if you can. They are much larger than 545i brakes and won't warp.

Axxis brake pads
Try Axxis Ultimate brake pads all around and you'll have much better brakes for cheap
Zeckhausen sells them

I'm still not convinced on the Axxis brake pads... less dust ya but harder pads mean less braking power, more heat generated, and perhaps some squealing as well....

Just the Ultimates (ULT) ...not anything else, which they produce dust, about 50% less than the OEM, while the Deluxe is almost dust-less (but not as powerfull as the ULT)
