Hi the R1 Concept seem to be identical to Centric rotors sold by others such as Auto Parts warehouse and Zeckenhausen.com? for premium rotor with the black painted hats.
Are these made by the same manufacture and sold wholesale to distributors who change product to their chosen name?
Prices are comparable with Accute Performance vs. Auto Parts Warehouse? the photos in the ads on their websites are identical? so who really is the manufacturer?

Yes, a lot of people sell the "black painted hats" but R1Concepts actually use a higher casting grade. If you're looking at competitors, make sure they're using a G3500 grade NOT G3000. The R1Concepts premium grade rotors are also caoted with an ultra strong rust protection coating that is electro-statically applied. The coating is black and is applied on the rotor hub, outer edge, and the inner vane structure (some just use hi-temp paint).
Oh and my prices are always for a pair of rotors.

As a person who purchased R1 Concept rotors for my front brakes I'd strongly advise against buying them. They're cheap, plain and simple and I learned my lesson. They rust, as most rotors do, but the worst part is vibration. After about 7,000 miles of use I am experiencing vibration when braking hard and I know damn well its a warped R1 concept rotor. I had them broken in EXACTLY according to spec and wasn't having any issues with them for about the first 5k miles or so until recently. So, if you get rotors, get drilled or slotted but not both and consider another brand. Bought them from Trinity but that has nothing to do with it really, they're all the same regardless of where you get it.
I think I've owned mine for less than 5 months only and already having problems.
