Does any one has tried this item?
BMW E60 E61 LCI Halogen Headlight LED CREE Angel Eyes 10W 20W Non-projector
I think this are the only ones that may fit my car I have a 08 528i.
Are they bright during the day?
Please advice.
Thanks

Former Vendor
the various upgrade LEDs are great quality CREE but poorly manufactured.
We finally saw first hand how these are built at a few trade shows and now understand why there are so many on eBay and why there are so many that fail. Just poorly built for quantity not quality.

The charade is over. LED's like it cool. If the heatsink is shit; so is the longevity.
If the LED module is not Samsung or Nichia or CREE; don't waste your money.
High quality LED Modules plus massive heatsinks = 3 years in the after-market world.
Just look at the heatsink designs on 2010+ BMW's. = Massive. That's what you need to exceed 3 years of longevity.
Outside of MTEC on EBay, I find the rest to be Chinese shit. Yes, MTEC is Chinese as well but at least their heatsinks are "decent".
MTEC's run about $180+ for their Angel Eyes. Somebody is living a great life with those prices, but everybody else is following along with the: "cheaper the shit, the better."

Transference of light is a substantially different argument than the longevity of LEDs.

I am not arguing about that. Although, indirectly, if it was better designed, there wouldn't be the need for such high wattage LEDs in the first place that demands gigantic heat sink.
