The best radar detector is YOU. I have V1 and there are countless of times when I pass the speed trap and that thing does not go off.

I just got an e-mail about a new Passport model called the RedLine. It's brand new, so I don't know anything about it, but it makes some rather large claims.

There is also the Beltronics STI - which is the only radar detector (with the exception of the Passport 9500 ci) that is invisible to radar detector detectors....
