Bass amp frequencys

Hi ive already replaced my stock speaker amps with a blaupunkt 555 plug and play thing,but when i tryed to add another sub the frequencies were far too high and with the lfp filtered down there was hardly any output.
I am thinking i will have to tap off the little amp in the boot , has anyone else done this?
any help appreciated

What blaupunkt plug and play thing did you use if you have not yet tapped the amp in the boot?
