Dear e60 forum,

I am looking for some rotors for my 530i and just wondered if anyone here has used these before, (CLICK BELOW). Their going for 200.00 for two which is too good to be true, but I need your input of what you think of these BMW e60 530i Rotors?

Also take a look at the AXXIS brake pads, has anyone ever used them before, and if so what did you think of them?

I would go Rotora rotors, well known brand.

They are OE size, drilled and slotted replacement rotors.

Fronts - $95/each

Rears - $99/each

Axxis pads aren't bad, good value.

I had the Rotora slotted/drilled rotors with Porterfield pads(low brake dust) on my C-class Benz.

 

So these are direct replacements??

How ez are replacing rotors? Is it a DIY type of project or are a "bunch" of special tools needed? Just asking b/c getting ready to put on spacers (when they arrive) and don't know if I should do rotors at same time or later in future. I am not decided 100% that I want to change my rotors yet.

 

The R1concept rotors are fine, just make sure to get the coated version to avoid rust. Another cheap alternative would be centric rotors. R1concept or centric blanks offer good value without sacrificing performance.

Try a search on R1concept. Their premium blank rotors are sourced from Centric, and Centric is the owner/parent company of stoptech.

In your sig though, I notice an extended warranty. Might as well just go to the dealer and have everything replaced for free. You could then change the pads and upgrade to stainless steel brake lines if you wish.
