Hi,
i want to retrofit the AUX connection myself.
My Bimmer is a 2004 without navi and CD-changer.
On the original AUX retrofit equipment is the plug X13813 mounted, but i unwilling to do retrofit with the org. AUX adapter because i don?t need the resistor/ capacitor.
My question: is there already the X13813-plug on the on the CCC/MASK?
Has anybody a AUX installation manual with pic?s (not for the org. AUX equipment)
Thanks in advance !!!!
(sorry English isn?t my native language :-)

many thanks !!
Did I get this right:
If I have a car with X13813, there is no reason to buy original AUX-IN retrofit kit?? I just need coding at dealer.
According wiring diagram the cable is really simple. If I make cable myself, I can locate 3,5mm plug wherever I want.

The only thing to buy would be the 3 tyco pins at the end to go into the X13813

Infact you dont need the X13813 plug either. Your 3 tyco pins will go into the already existing X13813 plug. It's been done before http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...st&p=186576
Only because that in saving a few pennies you dont go and destroy the trim pieces while trying to get to the back of the CCC.

Here is the X13813 plug with the pin contacts you need (if you have OEM CD changer you may already have it)

read all the posts on retrofit aux in.before you start.
the car will require coding to enable aux in menu by dealer. X13813
the cable supplied carries all wiring and the plug connected you have to remove the pins and replace in original plug xi13813 pay particular attention to pin nos. even dealers mix them up.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CAR IN DRIVE POSITION WITH GEAR SELECTOR BEFORE you disconnect battery. as you wont be able to remove ccc.(slides out in direction of gear selector.
ALSO check on active steering lock if applicable to your car.
its all on here in search.
